Filter the jobs list by person, units and floors on the customer review page, a measurement tool and an unsaved-changes guard in the 3D Editor, and faster, more reliable scan uploads from the NET Inhouse app.

Jobs list & properties

  • NewFilter the jobs list by person — pick an owner or team member and see only their jobs. The picker shows each person’s name and email.
  • ImprovedThe Excel export of the jobs list includes unit custom properties on their own Units sheet.
  • FixedBulk edit now lists every job it could not update and why, instead of reporting success when a status change had silently failed.
  • FixedCreating a job saves every ticked option of a multi-select property, not just the first; multi-select properties can also be left empty.
  • FixedThe My Jobs / All Jobs switch filters the list again.
  • ImprovedThe “saved” tick on a custom property now sits beside the field it belongs to.

Review page & reports

  • NewThe customer review page shows the units by floor, with their custom properties.
  • FixedPhoto titles and descriptions edited on the report page are no longer overwritten by the 3D Editor’s autosave, and typing in them no longer starts a drag-to-reorder.
  • FixedThe Bill of Materials Excel export shows the group totals instead of 0.
  • FixedDownloaded report PDFs keep umlauts and other special characters in their file name.
  • ImprovedThe broken PDF export was removed from User Management and the Bill of Materials; use the Excel export instead.

3D Editor

  • NewMeasurement tool — measure point to point in the scene, with keyboard shortcuts.
  • NewLeaving the editor with unsaved changes now asks whether to save, discard or stay, and the browser warns before the tab closes.
  • ImprovedCables no longer clip into the scan: where the scan hides a cable, it shows ghosted instead of disappearing.
  • ImprovedDefault nodes are semi-transparent, cable joins are smooth curves, and equipment is drawn on top of cables.
  • FixedAn unrecognised element type no longer stops a job from loading.

NET Inhouse app & scan uploads

  • ImprovedScans are processed up to ten times faster — a typical scan is ready in the portal a few seconds after the upload finishes, and even large scans in well under a minute. Model and texture quality are unchanged. (18 October)
  • ImprovedSeveral scans upload and process at the same time. While a scan waits, the app shows its queue position and an estimated wait.
  • ImprovedAn upload that is interrupted by a service restart is picked up again instead of being lost.
  • FixedA scan that fails to convert is reported straight away, instead of holding up every other upload in the region for 20 minutes.
  • FixedUnit photos taken in the app now attach to their unit and appear in the job’s unit drawer, including when a scan is uploaded again.

General

  • ImprovedMore of the portal is translated into German.
  • FixedThe “new version available” prompt appears once per browser, not once for every account you open.

  1. 7 October

    3D Editor performance

    • ImprovedModels load faster in the 3D Editor, and it now runs at 30 frames per second by default, which is lighter on laptops and batteries.
    • FixedLarge scenes could hang while loading on lower-powered laptops. Loading is now matched to what the device can handle.
  2. 6 October

    Large scans on lower-end devices

    • ImprovedThe 3D Editor adapts to your device’s graphics and memory, scaling scan textures down where needed so large scans load reliably.
    • ImprovedScans load one after another in the background, shown in the hierarchy with a spinner, and are kept in the browser so reloading is quicker.
    • FixedThe editor no longer runs out of memory and crashes when several large scans are loaded in one project.
    • FixedOpening a project shows the full overview of the scene again.
  3. 5 October

    Sign-in and language

    • ImprovedThe sign-in page pre-fills the email you last used, and opening a project’s 3D plan no longer asks you to type it again.
    • ImprovedThe language you choose carries over between the Holoflow home page and your account portal, and sign-in error messages are translated into German.

    NET Inhouse app

    • FixedThe Unit survey point is available in the NET Inhouse app again after going missing in the 1 October release.

A big round of 3D Editor fixes and upgrades, a dashboard you can point at any period, photo downloads on your terms and a smoother Review page on phones.

3D Editor

  • NewView modes (including wireframe), a custom pivot for rotating around any point, and isolate to work on one object at a time.
  • NewMagnetic snapping when you drag route points, and select several routes at once.
  • NewA mouse sensitivity setting, and an indicator showing which way each photo was taken.
  • ImprovedRecentring the camera and zooming to a selected line behave predictably, and the scan fades out as the camera gets close.
  • ImprovedA simpler move tool, a larger scrollbar in the asset library, and text fields that wrap.
  • ImprovedLong editing sessions stay signed in without reloading, and a hint appears when the browser window is too small (or, on mobile, to rotate the device).
  • FixedHidden objects can no longer be selected or moved; renaming routes works; missing models are back in the asset library; default route points no longer snap onto nearby equipment.
  • FixedLower memory use and fewer crashes in long sessions, and sharper, correctly sized display on high-resolution and mobile screens.

Dashboard

  • NewChoose the period the dashboard covers — last 7, 30 or 90 days, this month, this quarter, the last 12 months, or your own dates.
  • NewEvery panel follows the selected period, including jobs created and completed, status changes and active people.
  • ImprovedThe period picker stays in view while you scroll.
  • FixedJobs with no creation date no longer appear as phantom “Unknown” jobs created today.

Photos

  • NewDownload photos now opens a dialog where you pick the categories to include and the order they are numbered in — report order, order taken, 3D Editor order or name.
  • ImprovedThe same download options are on the job’s Report tab and on the customer Review page, and screenshots of points of interest are included.
  • FixedRemove as main photo now actually removes the job’s main photo.

Review page & reports

  • ImprovedThe 3D plan starts by itself when it scrolls into view, instead of waiting behind a launch button.
  • ImprovedThe signature pad fits phones held upright, and signatures display at the right size.
  • NewOn phones, the 3D plan has touch controls, a clean view without panels, and a photo slideshow.
  • NewPause and resume the scan’s rotation in the 3D plan.
  • FixedAn empty scan date is hidden rather than shown as a broken value.
  • FixedBills of materials show generated equipment images and the Unit icon instead of placeholders, and Installation Information shows screenshots for information fields placed in the 3D Editor.

Jobs, properties & import

  • ImprovedExporting the jobs list: choose what to export, with the total job count shown for “all jobs”. Reordering columns works reliably and long column titles wrap.
  • ImprovedLink properties accept web addresses typed without https:// and add it for you.
  • ImprovedJob import checks custom property values with the same rules as the portal, and reads dates day-first.
  • FixedTimes in the job sidebar show in your local time instead of UTC.
  • ImprovedImage properties show the file name on their thumbnail, and the old “Photo” property type, which only showed a text field, is no longer offered.
  • ImprovedWhen the NET Inhouse app sends an invalid property value, the error names the property and the reason.

Accounts & administration

  • ImprovedInvited users set their password right on the invitation page and go straight in.
  • FixedInviting someone who already uses Holoflow in another region adds them straight away instead of leaving the invitation pending.
  • FixedAdministration menu items only appear for users whose role can use them.
  • ImprovedThe “new version available” prompt links to this page so you can see what changed.
  • FixedThe language selector no longer opens behind side panels, and the Extensions pane uses the NET Inhouse name.
  • NewScan previews on the Resources tab show the routing length, the number of points and the scan’s routes and equipment.

  1. 29 September

    Job import and German characters

    • FixedImporting jobs and units from CSV now reads German special characters (ä, ö, ü, ß) correctly, whether the file was saved as UTF-8 or Windows-1252. If a job import file already contains garbled characters, you now see a warning with the affected rows.
    • FixedGerman special characters (ä, ö, ü, ß) in older jobs on the German platform have been corrected, including addresses, customer and contact names, and custom property values.
  2. 24 September

    User management

    • FixedChanging a user’s role failed with a brief error and the role was not saved. Roles can now be added and removed on the user’s page, and the last Admin on an account cannot be removed by mistake.

    3D Editor

    • FixedPlaced equipment shows its survey photo again, instead of the default catalogue thumbnail.
  4. 15 September

    Jobs and signatures

    • FixedCreating or editing a job could fail with a generic error for some accounts.
    • FixedSignatures drawn in white ink were invisible in the digital report and in PDFs.
  5. 14 September

    Sign-in

    • FixedThe sign-in page could mix up corporate sign-in (SSO) and password sign-in. The SSO option now only appears for organisations that use it.

    Reports

    • FixedApproval signatures were missing from the digital report and the standard PDF.

    3D Editor

    • NewDouble-click a filter in the navigation panel to show only that type of element.
    • FixedSwapping equipment keeps your camera position, and screenshots retaken on Finish match the right photo.
    • FixedThe toolbar now slides out of the way when a side panel opens.
    • FixedMissing tooltips restored on the navigation filters, tabs and undo/redo.
    • FixedFinishing no longer repeats the “unconnected elements” warning.

    Due dates

    • ImprovedDue dates sort and filter correctly in the jobs list. Every existing due date was brought into one format, so ranges and ordering are reliable across all jobs.

Our biggest release since July — better job lists, floors throughout, clearer reports and a round of 3D Editor improvements.

Jobs list

  • NewCustom property columns — add them under Table options, then sort, filter and search them like any other column.
  • ImprovedFilter by several statuses at once.
  • FixedThe units range filter now works — e.g. every job with 10–50 units.

Floors

  • NewEnter the number of floors when you create a job and they’re set up for you; the count shows in Building Details.
  • ImprovedThe job drawer’s Units tab groups units by floor.
  • NewChoose a unit’s floor straight from the unit drawer.
  • NewJob import takes building name and floor count, unit custom properties, and can set the job owner by email.

Reports & sign-off

  • NewRecipients no longer see each other by default — each reviewer sees only their own details, comments and signature. Change it per job under Report Settings on the job’s Report tab.
  • FixedThe 3D plan loads in the report preview, shown read-only.
  • NewCustom report templates: choose the template when you request feedback, plus a ready-made template that mirrors the Review page.

Outputs & scans

  • NewSwitch a photo between annotated and original with one click on its card.
  • ImprovedThe plan overview opens in the viewer instead of downloading.
  • NewDownload the original source .zip of any NET Inhouse scan from the Resources tab.

3D Editor

  • NewHierarchy and Layers tabs in the navigation panel.

  • ImprovedThe job drawer opens alongside the map and list instead of covering them.
  • ImprovedStatus reasons — such as why a job is paused — are easier to read on the Summary page.
  • FixedJobs at named buildings and some international addresses couldn’t be created.
  • FixedA building name can now be removed, and the State/Province field behaves correctly.
  • FixedCustom property values can be cleared, conditional rules are respected, and multi-line text displays as configured.
  • FixedCustom properties on units display and save correctly.
  • FixedImported jobs showed broken thumbnails; jobs without a photo now show their map tile.

Reports & templates

  • ImprovedThe report legend shows a friendly name when a piece of equipment has since left the catalogue.
  • FixedCustom report templates: the PDF now matches the Word layout; the email and preview use the selected template; “Set as default” works; bill-of-materials and legend images render; empty properties no longer print as placeholders; yes/no values follow the account language.

Photos & scans

  • ImprovedPhoto downloads are organised into separate folders for site photos and scan photos.
  • ImprovedScans keep their full texture quality after processing.
  • FixedA job’s main photo is cleared when its source photo is deleted.

3D Editor

  • FixedImporting a scan keeps every connection when route points snap to equipment.
  • FixedEnvironment search, the Finish button, hiding lines and filtering in the navigation panel, the object menu position, toolbar buttons after undo, duplicating scan-attached objects, and asset library thumbnails.

Settings & administration

  • ImprovedCatalogue items no longer need a description, and the NET Inhouse app now receives your equipment catalogue.
  • FixedDeactivating an account now takes effect everywhere.
  • ImprovedInvited users go straight to sign-in, without the old “magic link” step.
  • ImprovedSettings tidied up: the correct NET Inhouse name, and placeholder and non-working options removed.

Look & feel

  • ImprovedUpdated blue branding and consistent fonts across the portal, with a lighter, animated background that loads faster.

A series of smaller improvements to import, photos and reports.

Job import

  • NewExcel files upload directly — no converting your spreadsheet to CSV first.
  • ImprovedWarnings are shown up front, along with the existing job each row was matched to, so you can check the result before committing to it.
  • FixedNo more duplicates on re-import — rows now match on address as well as reference, so jobs created before you started using references are recognised rather than created again.
  • NewNamed floors via a floor names column, units created from the unit count, and a warning when a workbook has more than one sheet.

Photos

  • ImprovedPhotos on the Outputs page now default to capture order, rather than the order they happened to upload in.
  • NewReorder them by hand whenever you like — the page shows when a custom order is in effect, with a one-click reset back to capture order.
  • ImprovedGenerated reports follow the same order.

Reports

  • ImprovedPhotos in reports are now produced at full report resolution instead of being scaled up from thumbnails — a clear difference in print.
  • ImprovedReports show your annotated plan images, without repeating their raw originals.
  • NewNew template placeholders for the site location map and the date an approval signature was captured. (custom report templates)

Fixed

  • FixedExport to Excel on the jobs list produced no file.
  • FixedRe-uploading a scan after a failed attempt could corrupt the upload.
